Dates and Times |
The invitational forum will be held at the Ritz-Carlton in Arlington, Virginia, beginning at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 13 (registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. EST), and concluding by 4:00 p.m. EST on Friday, March 14. This meeting is being held in conjunction with and immediately following the U.S. Department of Education's ESEA Title II conferenceat the same locationas many of the state education agency representatives who are likely to attend the National Comprehensive Center for Teacher Quality forum will already be in attendance at the Title II conference.

Travel and Lodging Information |
All travel arrangements are the direct responsibility of the participant. National Comprehensive Center for Teacher Quality will reimburse the cost of lodging (up to $450) for up to two participants from each state education agency and for one participant from each regional comprehensive center. These participants will receive a travel reimbursement form in the mail following the event. Reimbursement procedures will begin upon completion. Expenses submitted without a receipt will not be reimbursed. Per diem and meals are not allowable expenses; however, National Comprehensive Center for Teacher Quality will provide all meals during the conference.
For those attending the U.S. Department of Education's conference, travel expenses are covered by your Title II funds, so National Comprehensive Center for Teacher Quality will only reimburse for one night of lodging expenses (up to $225) (March 13, 2008) incurred during the invitational forum.
All other participants attend at their own expense.
National Comprehensive Center for Teacher Quality has a list of those designated to receive reimbursement for travel and lodging expenses. If you are not certain whether or not you are included on this list, please contact Donna Bronson. |

The Ritz-Carlton in Pentagon City is located approximately 1.5 miles from Reagan National Airport and 40–45 minutes from Dulles International Airport.

Participants are responsible for securing hotel reservations and, if necessary, cancellations of these reservations.

The group rate for a single/double room is $201.00 per night, excluding tax. When making reservations, please note that the hotel contract is under Learning Point Associates.
