Interactive Data Tools
The National Comprehensive Center for Teacher Quality provides interactive data tools for users to generate customized data tables about teacher preparation and teacher recruitment and retention. Customized data tables are based on data from the Schools and Staffing Survey (SASS) and the Common Core of Data (CCD).
Teacher Recruitment and Retention Data Tool
The data that make up these tools are derived from the 2003–2004 Schools and Staffing Survey (SASS) conducted by the U.S. Department of Education's National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). For the data tool on recruitment and retention, the data are also based on the Common Core of Data (CCD) conducted by NCES.
